Inspiring Connections Outdoors
is an outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides wilderness experiences
to those who would not otherwise have the opportunity, particularly teens. The
SF Bay Rafting Chapter of ICO takes participants on whitewater rafting trips
throughout California, primarily on the South
Fork of the American
River.
We’re looking for enthusiastic
volunteers who want to share the outdoors with others. No experience is
required. We will provide the necessary training through an intensive program
in the Spring.
We’re holding two Question &
Answer sessions for anyone interested in learning more about Inspiring
Connections Outdoors.
