Fundraiser whitewater rafting trip: September 17-18, 2011

Inner City Outings is staging two very special trips down the Class II-IV South and Middle Forks of the American River on September 17th and 18th, 2011 to help raise money to support the 2012 ICO rafting season. You are invited to come enjoy these specials trips! Please join us for a fun-filled adventure of guided whitewater rafting in a beautiful river canyon, while supporting Inner City Outings.

Guests on the South Fork trip (Saturday, September 17) can explore a class III river rich with history and exciting whitewater. Those opting for a Middle Fork trip (Sunday, September 18) will tackle more challenging class IV rapids, including the infamous 'Tunnel Chute', all while exploring a rugged wilderness canyon etched by early gold mining. Make a weekend of it and raft both days while joining us in a riverside camp!

All proceeds will directly support ICO outreach activities for at-risk youth and adult recovery groups who have limited access to this wilderness experience. Trips are all inclusive and feature a great riverside lunch and shuttle between the river and our meeting place.

Camping is available for those interested in spending an evening relaxing next to the campfire with your friends and family while enjoying a great lunch and breakfast prepared for you by ICO volunteers.
